Yarn.vc is a catalog of domain names for sale. You can read every page of it without giving anything at all. The only thing that ever asks you for information is the contact form, and this page says exactly what happens to what you type into it.

Browsing: nothing is asked of you

• No account, no sign-in, no newsletter.
• No cookie is set by this site. Your shortlistis kept in your own browser's local storage, never sent anywhere, and cleared when you clear your browser data.
• The site measures page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. It records the page, the referrer and coarse details such as country and device type.
• Pages are served by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs (including your network address) for its own operations and security.

The contact form: what it asks

Every question on the contact form is answered by you, deliberately — nothing about you is looked up, guessed or inferred, and your location is whatever you type rather than anything read from your connection. The form asks for:

• Your name
• Email
• Company or project
• Your role
• Country
• City
• Which name or names
• Budget
• When do you want it
• How you found Yarn.vc
• What do you want to do with it

The form also checks a hidden field that only automated senders fill in, and how long the page was open before sending. Both are used once, to tell a person from a robot, and neither is stored.

Where it goes, and who sees it

• Your answers are filed as a single record in Linear, the private project tool the owner uses to run this business. They are read by the owner.
• They are not stored on this website, in its code, or in any database of its own.
• They are not written to server logs. The route that receives your message logs nothing about it — not on success, and not when something fails.
• They are never sold, rented, or passed to an advertiser or a data broker.
• They are used to answer you and to negotiate a sale of the name you asked about, and for nothing else. You will not be added to a mailing list.

How long it is kept

An enquiry is kept while it is live and afterwards as a record of the sale or the decision not to sell. If you want yours removed, say so in a new message naming the email address you used, and it is deleted. There is no automatic deletion schedule, and this page will not pretend there is one.

Your say over it

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form — it is the one route in, and it reaches the owner directly. Anything you send is given voluntarily, and the form is the only place this site collects it.

Other sites

Secure Ownershipon a name's page opens that domain's own sale page, which is run by a registrar or marketplace and not by Yarn.vc. What you do there is covered by that company's privacy policy, not this one.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes in the same release — the list above is generated from the form itself, so the two cannot drift apart.
